Sharing Indian culture through educational, cultural, and social programs and activities

History of MLIA

MLIA was started in 2012 as a result of several local families having a Diwali event to help bring other families from the Main Line and its surrounding areas together.  Since then, MLIA has experienced tremendous growth and is considered one of the most respected local organizations for those of Indian origin and those looking to connect with our community.

MLIA has been recognized as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code since March of 2013.

To promote local intra- and inter-cultural connections by providing a forum for the fostering and sharing of Indian culture through educational, cultural, and social programs and activities.
